Dear Mary Tsukamoto Elementary Students and Families,

It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new principal of Mary Tsukamoto Elementary.  My name is Molly Sangalang and I am thrilled to join this amazing community!

I come to Tsukamoto with 22 years of experience in education and a strong belief that all students can achieve at high levels when provided excellent instruction and strategic supports.   At Mary Tsukamoto, students will build their knowledge and critical thinking skills while also building empathy and compassion.   With incredibly talented colleagues, supportive families, and a strong community, we will work together to ensure that our school is a place where ALL students feel welcome and safe to be themselves, to take risks, and to make mistakes.   We will continue to focus on social emotional learning, high quality instruction, and positive behavior as we support all students to reach their greatest potential.
